ReplyDeleteI just started to follow your blog today once I seen this beautiful ornament. My name is Antoinette, my first and only daughter ALyssa marie was born sleeping on 2.23.10 at 35 weeks due to a clot in the cord. I am currently carring my rainbow, her little brother. The holidays are the firsts for me and its been really hard. we didnt decorate at all, but I did set up a small "Wishmas Tree" for her and have been saying my wishes each day. I think your giveaway is really sweet and I will be reposting this to FB..Good luck to everyone
ReplyDeleteYou're ornaments are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am an angel momma of a little girl named Serenity Hope Knight who was born with wings on September 25th 2008. She had Sirenomelia also known as The Mermaid Syndrome. I lost her at 14 weeks gestation and am working on getting my life together and a future so that I can settle down and get married and have my rainbow baby.
As for a Christmas tradition, My grandfather records Christmas specials from Thanksgiving day until New Year's so every year when we go to my grandparent's house for the holidays he makes us sit there and watch Christmas Specials. When I was younger I thought it was annoying but now I truly appreciate it and don't mind so much. It's what makes my Grandpa my pawpaw... So that's a little about my family traditions and my angel baby. :)
Leanne - I am sorry to find you here (From Lost and Found, Connections Abound).
ReplyDeleteI have followed your blog - and will likely read in Google Reader! I'll also cross post this to my FB, I have many other dbms there.
My daughter Serenity was stillborn 2/6/08 at 39 weeks. The pain does diminish, but the holidays are especially hard. The blogging has always helped me through.
What a lovely ornament! We're hoping our new tradition will be participating in a holiday ornament swap with other loss mamas. It really helped me feel connected this year. And now you have a new follower!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I lost my daughter Laken on April 8th of this year at 22 weeks and 4 days. I haven't been the same person since. I'm just trying to learn to live again by getting through the holidays without a member of our family that should be celebrating her first Christmas <3
