"The love of a true mother comes nearer to being like the love of God than any other kind of love."

I just came across this today. I wrote it only a few days after coming home from the hospital. Missing my boy today!

I WONDER......

What you would look like with chocolate on your face, or if you would cry when you fell down after taking your first steps?

What color are your eyes little man, would you have light or dark hair when you got older?

Did you suffer the day you slipped away or did you fall sweetly into God's hands?

Do you know how much we wanted you and the love that surrounds your memory?

There isn't a day that doesnt go by that I wonder

  1. I came across your blog by way of Faces of Loss. I relate to your story so very much (lost my daughter Emme Jade at 35 weeks, 2 weeks ago) and as I sat reading with tears rolling down my face (the part about your family putting away the baby's clothes set me off), I saw on the right hand side of the screen my brother's name: Michael Francis. I love my brother so very much. He's been through so much in his life. He's 21 now but he was in many ways my first baby, so the fact that your little angel baby is also named Michael Francis pulls at my heart even more. May his beautiful little soul be at peace. Thanks for sharing.

  2. This gave me chills. Some day we'll get to see our little ones. Then wonder will flood our eyes and hearts--we'll be with them again ;)

    I'll be praying for you.
